2/36 Walking Streak Challenge

Please join us for the 2/36 walking challenge.  This challenge is designed to be a jump-starter for anybody at any fitness level to create the habit of a healthy and active lifestyle.

What is 2/36 :

  • Participants will walk the distance of 2 miles every day for 36 days. 

Where :

  • Indoors or out. Your choice.

  • Treadmill or track, also your choice.

  • Group walk  :  Meet at Runners High 'n Tri on Saturday at 7:30am (11/25, 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/23, 12/30) to join your friends and fellow walkers in order to support each other.  We will walk from Runners High 'n Tri to Pioneer Park, make a loop around the park and head back to Runners High 'n Tri.

When :

  • Start Date : Nov. 25th, 2017.  Runners High 'n Tri will host the first jumpstart group walk.  Start at our store at 7:30am.  We will walk from Runners High 'n Tri to Pioneer Park, make a loop around the park and head back to Runners High 'n Tri

  • End Date : Dec. 30th, 2017.  We will walk from Runners High 'n Tri to Pioneer Park, make a loop around the park and head back to Runners High 'n Tri  Coffee and donuts will be serve after the walk in order to celebrate the achievement.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • Good pairs of shoes and socks.  Please come see us so that you will be equipped with the appropriate type of footwear.

  • Warm gear, such as hats and gloves in addition to good layers, to stay warm.

Strollers and well-behaved pets are welcome.
